World Digestive Health Day
This day is to increase awareness of all to improve the care of viral hepatitis patients and world health.
As told by working group of World Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO), a total of 400 million people are chronically infected with hepatitis B, and about half that number are chronically infected with hepatitis C. Together, these diseases are responsible for the majority of hepatocellular carcinoma cases, the THIRD leading cause of cancer death worldwide.
